From June to October 2006, I worked at Federal Computer Week as a reporter intern and then as a freelance writer. I published 16 articles, one of which was a cover story about the government's challenges in hiring recent college graduates. The article sparked a lot of interest, and Federal News Radio asked to interview me about my piece.
